The 26th edition of Equita Lyon will take place from 28 October to 1 November 2020 at Lyon Eurexpo
Dear enthusiasts of the Horse World,
During this unusual and difficult period that we are all experiencing, the Equita Lyon Team as well as the GL events Group is confirming its commitment to the horse sector and have decided to relaunch the 2020 edition of the Equita Lyon exhibition, despite the uncertainties encountered by all of us.
Given the current situation, we would like to contribute to supporting our sector. We have decided not to increase the 2019 prices, regarding all our services: exhibitors, breeders, competitors, ticketing or public relations….
The Equita Lyon exhibition and the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International will take place from 28 October to 1 November at Lyon Eurexpo.
Horse enthusiasts and families have made the event in Lyon a key happening where people have come together to celebrate all aspects of the horse for the last 26 years. Newcomers will discover the horse world from the Breeding Area to the Children’s Village, to the Health Area to the Western Area, while riders will discover the latest trends in terms of equipment for all disciplines. For 5 days, Equita Lyon is also a place where people get together and exchange views in a warm atmosphere which makes it so unique.
At the same time as the exhibition, the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International plays host to four FEI World Cup legs, for show jumping, dressage, driving and ponies, as well as federal competitions of all levels which set the tempo in the dedicated rings during the day and during the Sport and Show evenings.
In 2019, more than 175,000 French and foreign visitors discovered the 140,000 m² of exhibition space and around the 11 arenas brought to life continuously. The Salon Cheval de Lyon and the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International benefit from optimal visibility; more than 250 media representatives follow its latest news and more than 250 hours of live or pre-recorded television are broadcast throughout the world via the networks of the Fédération Equestre Internationale, the Fédération Française d’Equitation, Equita TV, ChevalTV, purchasers and social networks.
Our whole team is mobilized and is ready to answer your questions.
We look forward to seeing you. Best wishes to you in these especially difficult times.
