A major event in the “horse” calendar in Europe and a true international reference, Equita Lyon is both a show entirely dedicated to horses, a horse show, the Longines Equita Lyon, International Horse Show with 4 FEI World Cup stages, equestrian sport at all levels, continuous entertainment and a unique show, created especially for the event.

Across 140,000 m² of exhibition space, 750 exhibitors and breeders will be presenting the latest trends in horse riding, and 11 arenas will be hosting continuous events throughout the five days of the show to celebrate horses! Restaurants, snack bars, and sweet treats will be available for a tasty break throughout the day.

- The Western Center, Equita Western Horse Show
The largest western riding event in Europe is held at Equita Lyon and presents a wide variety of American disciplines to its audience.
Three specially dedicated arenas host major European competitions in reining, barrel racing, performance, and ranch sorting.
Numerous activities and demonstrations are scheduled throughout the five days of the show to introduce visitors to the versatility of American horses.
Discover an exotic world that, far beyond folklore, is that of athletes in their own right.
- The Children's Village
Equita Lyon dedicates 1,500 m² of its show to a world where everything seems miniature, reserved for children aged three to twelve. Numerous activities are offered every day to introduce them to the world of horses and ponies.
- The Breeding Center
Discover the variety of the thirty or so horse breeds present at the Equita Lyon show and learn more about the specific characteristics of each one.
- The Health Center
Enrich your knowledge of horse and rider health.
The Health Center aims to inform everyone involved with horses. Welcomed by equine health professionals, visitors, riders, breeders, owners, and horse lovers can learn about the most common animal diseases.
An interactive, educational, and fun journey, featuring conferences, activities, and demonstrations, guides visitors.
Developed by a physical therapist and sports coach, the workshops on rider posture are always a huge success.
- The Arena Entertainment
In the Nikito arena, established and up-and-coming artists from the Cabaret Équestre showcase their talents to the delight of all.

The Longines FEI World Cup Show Jumping competition, the main event of the Longines Equita Lyon International Horse Show, welcomes the world's best riders!
Experiencing a Longines FEI World Cup show jumping stage is an adrenaline-filled experience, with plenty of surprises and top-level performances from the world's best riders and horses. Combining speed, power, and precision, this flagship event promises to be a thrilling sporting spectacle!
Taking place in two stages, with a first round followed by a jump-off against the clock, this stage promises to be another exceptional event.
The rules are the same as for a classic competition and are easy for everyone to understand: four points are counted when a bar falls and when the horse refuses to jump the obstacle. A second refusal and/or the fall of the rider or horse will result in elimination. Riders who complete the first round without faults and within the allotted time will return for a shortened course against the clock. The winner of this Longines FEI World Cup show jumping stage will be the rider who completes the jump-off as quickly as possible without committing any faults!
