From 29 October to 2 November 2025, Eurexpo Lyon will be transformed into Europe's largest temporary stables. Covering a total of 140,000m² of event space, Equita Lyon, le Salon du Cheval de Lyon and the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International (International horse show and riding competition) invites horse-riding enthusiasts and the general public to enjoy an immersive experience that awakens all the senses: high-level international riding competitions, spectacular equestrian shows and events, horses and ponies that you can actually touch and stroke, food stalls with various specialities and many other great experiences to share. The 31st Lyon Horse Show is a real feast for the senses!

A BREATHTAKING ADVENTURE
Equita Lyon, le salon du cheval de Lyon, (Lyon Horse Show) presents every aspect of the equestrian world under one roof. With 11 riding arenas with non-stop competitions, shows, demonstrations and a host of different activities, there is never a dull moment! Just imagine... all around you, there are many different stands where exhibitors showcase a wide variety of colourful, beautifully presented products. The show brings together more than 200 breeders, an extensive range of equipment for horses and riders, equipment for stable maintenance or for transporting horses, health-care products for both horses and riders, travel ideas, works of art, jewellery, books and, above all, some 3,500 horses and thousands of riding enthusiasts! 
In the international competition arena of the Longines Equita Lyon, Concours Hippique International, spectators will have the opportunity to admire the world's top riders and horses during the FEI World Cup show-jumping, carriage driving and dressage events. Being in the grandstands and feeling the passion and excitement of these competitions is always a powerful and unforgettable experience. When evening comes, you can round off the day in style at the Sport & Show evenings and enjoy yet another magical moment of equestrian artistry. One thing is certain; everyone leaves Equita Lyon with stars in their eyes!

DIRECT CONTACT WITH HORSES AND PONIES
Equita Lyon also gives visitors the opportunity to get up close to horses, ponies and donkeys, to stroke their silky coats and feel that special bond with "man's best friend". In the Children's Village, youngsters can have their first riding class and take part in practical workshops to discover the world of ponies in a fun, hands-on way. 

EQUITA LYON TOUCHES BOTH THE HEART AND THE MIND
The sound of hooves in the arenas, the powerful breathing of galloping horses, the cheers of the spectators in the stands, the lively routines and rhythms of the equestrian artists in the cabaret, the neighing of a foal...
