A huge win for Camille Seys

31 October 2021

Riding Titan Pavière, Camille Seys won the Final of the Amateur Gold Tour FFE Esthederm. The rider from Haute-Savoie, who won the Mâcon-Chaintré and Cluny stages this season, sealed her victory with a double clear round in 31’’83.

"This is the pinnacle. I can't believe it", said Camille Seys, who has been riding on the federal circuit for several years. "I really set this final as my main goal this season. I tried to stay focused and, above all, put everything I had into the jump-off. This was also a great team adventure, because my stable had three riders involved in this class," she added. Indeed, the Jean-Luc Mourier stable, where Camille Seys is based, did a great job. The champion finished ahead of her compatriot David Mourier, who was also very fast on Louis Vuitton in a time of 32''30. Nina Carroux and Chayori du Clos took third place in 32''38.

A total of thirty-nine couples – selected on the basis of their performances and ranking on the circuit – took part in this final of the Amateur Gold Tour FFE Esthederm, held in the international arena of the Longines Equita Lyon, International Equestrian Competition. "I'm looking forward to next year," added Camille Seys, with a big smile on her face.
