We are into the final straight ... tomorrow evening, all the eyes of the reining world will be trained on the Oklahoma arena! The grand final of the NRHA European Derby Open – which will, once again, count as the only qualifying event outside the United States for the Run For A Million – is a complete sell-out!

The French rider Arnaud Girinon, who made headlines with his classy win in the Million Dollar Competition in Las Vegas last August, finished in pole position in the qualifying go with a score of 222 on his faithful Flexing Guns N Town. They will undoubtedly be the centre of attention on Saturday, as they look to defend their title and secure a second qualification for the legendary American event. However, they will not be the only ones with that objective, since the best European couples are also in Lyon to battle for the victory. Once again this year, the ground will shake during the competition in the Oklahoma Arena, much to the delight of spectators who managed to get the precious tickets!
