5 November 2023
The final verdict fell on Sunday morning at the Hippolia Start-up Village on the Place des Lumières. Mila Moka, a brand of food supplements for horses, won the 2023 Hippolia by Equita Lyon Start-up Award in partnership with Grand Prix.

After presenting their projects to a panel of judges on Thursday, the seven start-ups taking part in this year's Equita Lyon show were invited to the awards ceremony on Sunday. The winners of the competition were designated according to a 50-50 split between the public's votes (cast during the show) and the assessment made by a panel of professional judges. The prize for the lucky winner is a stand offered by GL Events Equestrian Sport for the 2024 Equita Lyon show and a cheque for €10,000 worth of promotional communication from Grand Prix.

Finally, the winner of the competition was Mila Moka, a company founded by Benjamin Seiler and Dora Flament. « We're really pleased and honoured to have won. It's been a great challenge. We've put a lot of work into raising the brand's profile and developing it. We have worked hard to innovate in the field of food supplements, in the marketing as well as in the product formulation, right down to the packaging. This award proves that our idea was not a mistake and that we were right to make these choices. This prize will also give us the legitimacy to continue to invest in this product segment and to take things even further », said the happy the winners.
