LORENZO IS BACK ON THE MAIN ARENA OF
LONGINES EQUITA LYON CONCOURS HIPPIQUE INTERNATIONAL
"LA MAESTRIA" AN ODE TO FREEDOM AND VOLTIGE
This year, as part of the “la Maestria” creation, equestrian vaulting and freedom are honored by its finest ambassadors.
Headlining this original creation, Lorenzo, the "flying rider" that the world is tearing up, will present two acts: The first, revisited, has made its international success: standing on horses, the show of which increases as the number progresses, the artist overcomes obstacles with disconcerting ease, in lightness and total complicity with his mares.
In the second act, Lorenzo presents a more intimate facet of his work, less known, which reveals to the spectators all the finesse of which the "flying rider" is capable: the work of the herd in freedom. In this act, the feat is less sporting, the obstacles on the arena have given way to the dialogue between the man and the horse without any harness, which evolves in the middle of its congeners. Sometimes on horseback, sometimes on foot in the middle of the arena, in a palpable emotion and poetry, the rider leads a dozen horses without any other artifice than his voice and the perfect knowledge he enjoys of the natural behavior of the horse in a group.
Voltigeur, trainer, ethologist, Lorenzo has actively contributed to the programming of "la Maestria", by proposing the casting of artists who will accompany him on stage, the "flying rider" wants to leave the surprise intact by keeping the names of most of his guests.
